With 25 years’ executive recruiting experience, Brian Flynn has focused on CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, and most vice-president level positions in technology, consumer, electronics, and industrial companies.
He has conducted numerous recruiting assignments in the areas of high-tech, emerging technologies, consumer technology, industrial products, and manufacturing operations. Clients range in size from startup to Fortune 500.
Brian's background includes partner roles with global, mid-sized, and boutique search firms spanning two-and-a-half decades, which gives him a unique perspective on what works best and how to apply that experience to his current client base.
Additionally, midway through his search career, during the dot.com boom (1999 and 2000) Brian was a Vice President at Internet Capital Group (ICG), where he worked closely with ICG investors to recruit top talent into the company, as well as senior management teams for their portfolio companies. He understands the demand businesses have for exceptional talent.
Throughout his career, whether as a partner with Korn/Ferry International or with a small boutique firm, Brian has conducted searches both nationally and internationally. With the shift of manufacturing to the Far East, most C-suite positions require experienced talent that brings hands-on Asia experience to the role. Likewise, Brian has executed searches in the U.S. for the subsidiaries of foreign firms looking for C-level candidates, and continues to maintain strong relationships inside and outside of the U.S.
Brian earned an MBA from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.A. with a concentration in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He also served in the United States Army in both active and reserve status during the 80s and 90s, where he worked in military intelligence.
